Advantica® is a range of pre-finished steel products specifically formulated for the manufactured goods sector. The result of almost 40 years experience, the Advantica® product range can provide superior solutions to best meet your needs.
Tata Steel manufactures high reflectivity pre-finished steel products specially formulated for light fittings including gear trays and box sections for fluorescent tube lights, reflectors and luminaire light fittings in commercial buildings.
All Advantica® Lighting products are supplied with a white reflective surface and can be produced with a variety of shades and coating systems to the reverse. They can be supplied on a variety of substrates.

Cleaning and maintenance
All Advantica® products can be cleaned with commercially available, water based cleaning products. The use of abrasive cleaners or scouring pads is not recommended. For controlled environments, ensure that the cleaner is compatible with the pre-finished steel product used on.

A proven solution for non-aggressive controlled environments with low traffic and minimal food contact.
We have been producing Advantica® GM pre-finished steel over several decades. It is a popular choice in controlled environments where traffic is low and where there is little risk of damage occurring to the product and minimal routine cleaning. It is suitable for use in areas where there is intermittent food contact only.
Advantica® GM is:
- Easy to clean.
- Safe for use where direct food contact is minimal.

Manufactured with care
We manufacture Advantica® GM using a hot-dip galvanized substrate to EN 10346. Following a pre-treatment, an anti-corrosive primer is applied. A smooth polyester topcoat is applied on top of the primer. The nominal total organic coating thickness is 25µm.
The reverse side of the product has a backing coat which provides excellent adhesion to most forms of adhesive and insulation.

Cleaning and maintenance
As there are so many different sorts and sources of cleaning products on today’s market, recommendations regarding use of the product is the responsibility of the detergent manufacturer. However, we strongly recommend that you follow the advice given below, which is based on our experience.
