At the end of September, on September 26-28, 2023, the traditional Subcontracting Fair will be held in Tampere. The subcontracting fair is Finland's largest and internationally popular trade fair, which brings together industry players from Finland, Nordics, Baltics and further afield.

Tata Steel Naantali SSC is involved again and this year you will find us from a new location in the A-hall. Our booth can be found at A327. As usual, industry experts are there to help our customers. Among them is Jaap Jan Aardenburg, marketing manager from Tata Steel Nederlands, who has a solid view of the current situation and future of the European steel industry due to his strong Eurofer connections. Our theme at this year's fair is the current structural change that is shaking up the entire steel industry, i.e. the shift of steel production towards more sustainable production methods. Tata Steel has its own road map for the future, and we intend to introduce the so-called green steel already at the end of this decade. We call this road map to change – or the journey there – Zeremis. For us, Zeremis means more cleaner, greener, and circular future.

However, a solution to curbing emissions already exists after we introduced a low-emission solution based on mass balancing called Zeremis Carbon Lite to the market last year. With Zeremis Carbon Lite our customers can reduce the emission intensity of their own products already today and do not have to wait for solutions in the future.
